Minutes of Meeting Held 22nd April 2008
Present: Liz Allen, Liz Barry, Fay Britton, Riette Cuciurean, Stuart Dennis,
Jane Macmillan, Dawn Thomas
Apologies: Sharon Dennis, Anne Marriott, and Alison Waldron
1. Tag Rugby/Maypole Dancing
It was decided to ask the Wilts and Glos. Standard if they would come along on Saturday 26th April for the Tag Rugby. Sharon has emailed the paper and is waiting for a reply. 11-11:30am was decided as the meeting time, Riette to organise prizes and Simon to referee the rugby matches. Kate will bring a flip chart and also the first aid kit. Jane will bring hot and cold drinks, sweets and crisps. Kate also has flasks, which she will bring. Tables are needed which Liz Barry will bring in her Camper van along with cones, tags and balls. A time is still to be decided for the Maypole Dancing.
2. Barn Dance
Jane has organised the licence to be able to serve alcohol. Band has been booked. Ploughman’s food to be supplied, letters to be sent for donations of cheese to various suppliers. The ticket price was decided at adults £8 and children £6, and a letter will need to be sent to parents reference tickets and also asking for pudding donations. Kate will do a map, which can be printed on the back of the tickets. Also need to contact the Standard as soon as possible.
3. Cake Sale 16th May

4. Cotswold Cart Horse Society
On Sunday 18th May – we have been offered a Stand to publicise the 160th Committee, Fay has a ‘Pandora’s box which we can use.
5. ‘Thank You’ letters to be organised for people/organisations who have helped so far.
