Dear Parents.
We hope you enjoy your belated Easter Holiday—we will see you back on Monday 21st April—duly refreshed and ready to go!
As ever, lots of dates and information for you to put in your diary. Swimming starts for YEARS 2-6 only on the first Tuesday back for 5 weeks at Cirencester pool—please make sure all kit is named! Invoices to follow in the new term—if you haven’t paid for this term yet this amount will be added to this term’s amount. We cannot continue with swimming if we do not raise enough funds to cover the cost. It would be a shame if we had to stop this great opportunity for our children.
Tennis Seeds has finished but will back in term 6.
Healthy Sports Club starts up as soon as we get back, please see booking forms. Unfortunately our funding for this club only lasted for term 4 so it’s now £3.00 a session or £12.50 if you pay of all 5 in one go. (Money in by the first day of term please!)
Games club will continue on a Tuesday for this term, except on Tuesday 13th due to SATS, but will move to Thursdays in term 5 to make way for Watersports Club—more information on this activity to follow.
Art Club is still on Thursday for this term but does not run after 8th May due to other events happening on Thursdays. It will return again in September.
I realise that this newsletter contains a lot of information but I do ask that you take the time to go through this newsletter and note down those activities that affect you!

Charity news
Cancer Research—The Biggest Breakfast served on Thursday 6th March at
raised £57.00
World Book Day where we asked the children to dress up as their favourite book character and pay £1.00 to Great Ormond Street Hospital Appeal as part of their “Peter Pan and Scarlet” fundraising appeal raised £50.00
Sport Relief Day with a healthy lunch of wraps raised £116
Our next Charity event will be on May 16th—this will be a cake sale with tea and coffee being served by the “Friends”. This is the last cake sale for this academic year and we would like small cakes for the children to buy and large cakes for parents to purchase.
The School Council is to meet shortly to decide which Charity they would like to benefit from this event.
Bird Boxes
Peter Britton, (Evie’s dad), has secured some funding for free bird boxes.
As you know we are keen bird watchers here at Sapperton and would love everyone to get involved.
If you would like a FREE bird box please let the school know after this holiday.
MID-DAY SUPERVISOR:
Up to 5 lunchtimes a week—but can do less if interested.
Good rates of pay, great working environment.
