Dear Parents 22nd April 2008
Corinium Museum, Years 3, 4, 5 and 6
On Tuesday 29th April Years 3,4, 5 and 6 are planning to visit Corinium Museum, Cirencester, to back up last term’s -work on ‘ Invaders and Settlers’. They will get to look around the newly opened museum and to take part in a workshop on “the everyday life of the Romans”
The cost of this trip will be £ 4.00 per child.
Please fill in the slip below to indicate if you are willing to permit your child/children to go on this trip, and whether you are willing to contribute £ 4.00 per child towards the cost.
There is no need for your child to bring any drinks or sweets; we will not be on the bus long enough!. Even though it is a very short journey, if your child is travel sick, please make provision for this; if a tablet is needed for the return journey, put it in a labelled envelope and give to a member of staff. It is always useful to give your child a plastic bag (without holes) just in case! We will not be visiting the shop so no money is required.
The children will leave school at 12.00pm and return by 3.00pm, so those children who normally travel home by school transport will return home at the usual time.
Please note, if we do not receive your written permission to take your child for this trip he/she will have to be left behind. If you do not wish your child to partake in this trip, he/she will remain in school with work and a member of staff.
If you have any queries regarding the trip, please contact me.
Yours faithfully
Dawn Thomas, Headteacher.
